Manufacturers of cosmetic products have to comply with regulations and / or customer requirements. From authorities, the newly designed and re-structured cosetmics regulation will be fully active in July 2013, providing a directive rather than a regulation. In addition, the EU directive 1223/2009 refers to ISO 22716 for good manufacturing practice in cosmetic business.

Therefore the seminar preferably deals with content and requirements of ISO 22716, cosmetics GMP. The basic requirements of EU directive 1223/2009 will also be explained. Last not least, comparison with ISO 9001 and a guideline to do self assessment according to ISO 22716 will be provided.
